Hishab is suitable for Restaurants, You need to enable the Restaurant feature of Hishab.
To do that follow the steps,
Start the Hishab application and logged in as a administrator
Go to System -> Configuration -> Tickets
select 'Restaurant' option
Click 'save' button, It will display following message
It said that you need to restart the application to enable changes
After Restarting application. When you logged on. You can see following screen, In place of 'Sales Screen'.
Above screen and table can be configured as per your requirement, To make suitable changes for your business contact-us.
Feature of Restaurant Module
Click on table name of above screen to make the table reserved. You can verify that ticket number is now become table number
Now make sales transaction (To learn more about sales click here )
Click print button and view the Receipt
Moving tables :
To move transaction from one table to another click button that looks like arrow in the below snapshot
Click on empty table to move the current table
Table will be moved like below
Managing tables
While dealing with one table, Hishab user need to move to another table, To do that click button that is marked below
In this example 'Table 1', 'Table 2' and 'Table 4' are currently reserved, Others are available.
Advance Reservation Feature
Click 'Reservation' button which is on the top of the main screen.
It will open following screen.
Now examine following example :
John Bermudez person reserved seat for 5pm and Robert Smith person reserved seat for 5 pm. It will done like that.
- Click customer filter button and select name of customer. Icon is marked on the above snapshot
Select name of the customer
Click chairs information, And some extra notes if needed.
After fill all the detail click save button, which having icon like floppy disk
The customer name will appear in the left box. Now try to add another customer name by your self.
Click 'Tables' button anytime to go back to mail screen.
Receving Customer :
Now when customer arrives select that customer and click 'Receive'
Verify top line, It should be with the name of the customer. Currently reserved table will automatically disabled.
Click on empty table.
Ticket will show name of customer along with table number.
